5th graders had fun outside with Mrs. Spencer from Seven Ponds on Friday. They explored the field next to the playground to see how many native and non-native insects they could find. It ended with Mrs. Howell's class collecting a praying mantis eggsack that students will be watching as we try to hatch it!! Did you know praying mantis are non-native and are actually from Eurasia?
