February is community helper month in GSRP. Today Ms. Erika and Zero from Critter Crossing Rehabilitation came to visit Mrs. Rhodes and Mrs. Koroleski's class. Zero was born without eyes and can’t return to the wild. He helps Erika educate people on her nonprofit organization. Critter Crossing Rehabilitation focuses on aiding injured and orphaned wildlife so that they can be released back into nature. Critter Crossing also enjoys educating the public on our native wildlife to both develop a sense of appreciation for our environment and to prevent human-animal conflicts.
