In conjunction with our “Reading Gives Cardinals Wings!” initiative, we are excited to be able to send home Book Bags with every Kdg, 1st, and 2nd grade student over Christmas Break. These books are close to your child’s individual “just-right” reading level and have phonics skills they are learning in the classroom. By reading at home, students can continue their reading progress even during breaks from school. We are asking for the bags & books to be returned when we come back to school on January 4th. Happy reading! #proudcardinal

Mrs. Bonesteel’s 2nd graders made preposition planes this week. To learn and understand what a preposition is, we wrote the complete sentences explaining where our airplanes landed and underlined the preposition. It was a lot of fun throwing airplanes in ELA class!!!! ✈️ #proudcardinal
Relay races, marshmallow throwing competitions, coloring, cookie decorating, musical chairs and more. We had a wonderful last day of school today in Mrs. Bonesteel’s class!! #proudcardinal
